Fubrax, also known as Fubulas, was introduced to China by Baoji Huasheng Fruit Industry Co., Ltd. from Europe in 2015. It was selected by Italian breeder Thomas Braun from Girlan/Eppan from a naturally mutated KIKU8 (Cool Fuji) tree. Named "FUBRAX" in 2006, it obtained a patent in April 2008. Currently, it is one of the main cultivated Fuji varieties in Europe. As a bud mutation of Fuji, it can be regarded as the "Western Red Fuji".
